Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Mysteryland… Just name one major festival, and chances are high it’s on the long list of highlights the careers of Tariq Pijning and Danny da Costa have taken them.
Coming from the North of the Netherlands, this electronic duo quickly put their musical stamp on the grounds of Europe. When the two joined forces for their residency in Club Kokomo in Groningen, it appeared to be an instant hit, but individually the two also built an impressive career for themselves.
With an average of more than 150 shows every year, Danny da Costa became a very well experienced DJ who shared his skills all over Europe, sharing stages with big artists like Afrojack, Hardwell and Nicky Romero. Besides, he proved be a very talented producer, releasing originals and remixes on music label giants like Spinnin’ Records and Armada. This resulted in massive support by industry tastemakers like Jack Ü, Blasterjaxx, Diplo, who played Danny’s releases on stages like Sziget, Coachella and Sensation.
In a short period, musical multitalent Tariq Pijning became one of the biggest saxophone players in the Dance industry worldwide. Being only in his early twenties, Tariq already is an indispensable name among live acts. With his smooth melodies and spot-on timing, Tariq is one of the few saxophone players that exactly know what it takes to lift the musical quality to a higher level. Since he joined forces with Dutch superstar Sam Feldt in 2016, Tariq found himself maintaining an astonishing international tour schedule, playing sold-out shows at stages like Ultra Miami Mainstage, Tomorrowland, Creamfields, Mysteryland and many more.
Right now, Danny da Costa and Tariq Pijning teamed up to bring a brand new show, filled with live elements, elevating melodies and a lot of energy.
The use of own productions incorporated in the set, a good dynamic musical flow and use of various live elements make this act stand out immediately.
